Hello,
Recently Luke Handler and Graydon Dukes entered into a fundraising opportunity that our school, Whitefield Academy, offers each year. We made it to the final round of the competition but unfortunately did not get chosen for a grant for Safehouse Outreach. But now our Dads have challenged us to raise the money for Safehouse by ourselves and we need your help.
Graydon Dukes and Luke Handler are asking for a donation by you to help them meet their goal of a $6,500 grant for Safehouse Outreach. Safehouse is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help restore lives experiencing extreme poverty to independent living through faith, love, and compassionate service. They connect with people in need through street outreach, hot meals, health and hygiene services, and assistance with basic necessities. They will help anyone that comes in their door with any need and with your donation they can help thousands of more people in various new ways. Specifically, your donation would go towards a computer cart filled with computers for people to use to apply for jobs, get certification for various things, get IDs, and many other things. The sooner Safehouse can get these computers the more people’s lives will be changed!
You will see an in depth look at what your donation is going towards and the effect it will have on safehouse as well as details about Safehouse Outreach in the attached slides…
