The theme for this year's Philip Bray Chili Outreach is "Be With." It encompasses the core mission of SafeHouse, which is to be there for our friends who are experiencing homelessness. We aim to not only provide our friends with basic necessities and support, but also to offer a sense of hope and the opportunity for restoration.
SafeHouse was founded on the belief that it is not enough to simply love our neighbors from a distance. Philip Bray understood this and made the courageous decision to step out of his comfort zone; out of the "box." His vision was to truly know and be with those who are less fortunate, and this is the foundation on which SafeHouse was built and continues to be built.
Today, Philip Bray's legacy lives on through the efforts of all the volunteers, partners, and supporters of SafeHouse. It is through your dedication and commitment that we are able to continue his mission of being with those in need. Together, we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can find solace and support.
Space is limited! Sign up to reserve your spot now. Teams are limited to 7 to ensure availability. (unless otherwise discussed.)
There is no cost to volunteer but we are asking for a $30 donation if you would like to receive this year's T-shirt. We will also be accepting donations to go toward our Outreach Department to help us be with those beyond the gates at 89 Ellis.
Please reach out to Chuck@SafeHouseOutreach with any questions.
